Take me out to the ball game…

This shot was captured at the Minnesota Twins stadium known as Target Field in Minneapolis Minnesota. This was a great win for Matt Fox's professional Baseball debut.
I had great fun with the boys and I was able to witness this wonderful sunset.
As Tim would say, “this is quality of life my boys, quality of life.” Thanks Tim and Pat.

If you know me at all you know I like to get outside and enjoy nature. Luckily I live quite close to one of the best parks in the region, Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan, MN. This is an amazing place for hiking, cross country skiing, biking, canoeing, snow showing or just sitting and enjoying the views. Some of my most popular images come from this fantastic park. I invite to you enjoy with me.

This image is the result of an evening winter walk and then some playing on the computer with my son.

Get out and enjoy our treasures of our local parks.

The Guthrie Theater is a Tony Award winning center for theater performance, production, education, and professional training in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is the result of the desire of Sir Tyrone Guthrie, Oliver Rea, and Peter Zeisler to create a resident acting company that would produce and perform the classics in an atmosphere removed from the commercial pressures of Broadway.

The Guthrie Theater has performed in two main-stage facilities. The first building was designed by architect Ralph Rapson and included a 1,441-seat thrust stage designed by Tanya Moiseiwitsch, which was active from 1963-2006. After closing its 2005-2006 season, the theater moved to its current facility designed by French architect Jean Nouvel.

The Guthrie Theater is the best place in the city to take portraits, to see great theater, to eat or just to hang out. I love this place.

These are from our family trip to New York City the summer of 2010.

Whereever I am, I always finding myself looking for interesting architecture and of course New York is a wonderful place to find some of the best.

The Church of St. Paul the Apostle is a substantial Roman Catholic church on Ninth Avenue between 59th and 60th streets, in Manhattan, New York City, New York. It is the mother church of the Paulist Fathers, the first order of Roman Catholic priests founded in the United States.

The Late Gothic Revival-style church was built between 1876-1884 with Tarrytown, New York granite to designs by Jeremiah O'Rourke and the Rev. George Deshon. The building was dedicated on January 25, 1885.[3]

These are from our family trip to New York City the summer of 2010. My kids were totally fascinated by the Egyptian exhibit at the museum. I think they could have spent a week there. We rented the recorded tour guide thingies and they ran off on their own. Gosh it was next to impossible to find everyone and get us back together. This is certainly a must do on any trip to New York City.

Originally uploaded by !!WaynePhotoGuy.

One evening evening, I had the awesome opportunity to get out shooting with an up and coming photographer, Ava

The top location on our list was the Weisman Art Museum on the University of Minnesota Campus.

And I quote…
“Housed in a striking stainless steel and brick building designed by architect Frank Gehry, the Weisman Art Museum offers an educational and friendly museum experience. The museum’s collection features early 20th century American artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe and Marsden Hartley, as well as a diverse selection of contemporary art. A teaching museum for the University of Minnesota and the community, the Weisman provides a fresh, engaging arts experience through an array of programs and a changing schedule of exhibitions.”

Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum

on our way out to the location it was all cloudy and gray with no interesting light…. And then the sun broke out… ;-DDD

Awesome!!!!
