Defend Dr. Dobson’s Stem-Cell Comments
Liberals lambasting him for comparing embryonic stem-cell research to Nazi "science"
Focus on the Family Action Chairman Dr. James Dobson is asking anyone who believes all human life is sacred to help him fight the attacks of liberals criticizing him for his opposition to destructive embryonic stem-cell research.
Dobson was lambasted Thursday by the heads of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Colorado group ProgressNow.org for saying on a recent radio broadcast that experimenting on stem cells from destroyed human embryos has a "Nazi-esque aura" to it. U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette, D-Colo., co-sponsor of a bill to expand federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research, also issued a statement blasting Dobson
All three critics deliberately twisted his words, he said, explaining that he was in no way seeking to trivilalize the atrocities of the Holocaust — just trying to call attention to the atrocities being committed on unborn life in the name of questionable modern-day science.
"What part of ‘We condemn what the Nazis did and it was horrible’ don’t they understand?" Dobson asked. "The truth is these are ultraliberals who want the legal approval and the federal money to experiment on unborn life — and don’t care a whit about unborn life at any stage."
Please take a moment to respectfully let DeGette; Abraham Foxman, national director of the ADL; and Michael Huttner, executive director of ProgressNow.org, what you think of their politically motivated attempts to smear Dr. Dobson. You can compose one message to send to all three by clicking the "Take Action Now" button above.

From that bastion of leftists and ultra liberals, the Wall Street Journal:
“Last week, James Dobson of Focus on the Family proved that he lacks sufficient control to be pitching in the major leagues of public discussion and ought to be sent back to the minors. He compared embryonic stem cell research to Nazi death-camp experiments.”
Michael Medved a noted “conservative” and Jew also hated what Dobson said. So, that does not make it wrong, in fact it probably makes it more right. I understand Medved’s sensitivity to discussions of the Holocaust as a Jew. If life begins at conception as Bill Frist says it does, then how can we do experiments and kill that life? It makes no logical sense.
So, Michael Medved is a bit blind on this issue and so is the Wall Street Journal.
BTW, while it is true that the editorial page of the WSJ may slant right, the news paper itself have proven to be leftist in it’s social agenda again and again.
The WSJ is leftist in its social agenda? That’s a hoot.
