I had posted about on several occasions about the work of the National Black Republicans Association here and here and here . Well it turns out much of their board and directors have quit the organization because of differences of vision.
Christopher Arps, the previous director of communications of the organization had this to say…
I anticipated an organization that was going to focus its outreach efforts on supportive black pastors, young activists at the HBCU’s, black entrepreneurs and professionals, and those who were looking for an alternative to the poverty pimps of the Democratic party. For too long our people have been led by "leaders" designated by the liberal media. There have been too many black political organizations (liberal and conservative) that "speak" for black people but are nothing more than vehicles for self proclaimed leaders to promote and enrich themselves and their cronies. I believe we can and will do better.
