Red Bull Crashed Ice 2013 St Paul MN
The folks from Red Bull must really love the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul because they have done so many huge events here.
Back in 2008 it was the Red Bull Illume Minneapolis on the Minneapolis Stone Arch Bridge. This was a display of incredible extreme sports photographs submitted by photographers around the world.
In July 2010 it was the FlugTag event on Harriet Island in St Paul where over 100,000 people came out to see a world record be broken for furthest flight on a human powered homemade air craft. This is an image of the world record flight. The flight was 207 ft.

Last year they had the mind blowing crashed ice event and now in 2013 they are doing it again. They are expecting over 100,000 people to brave these frigid conditions just to be part of this spectacular event. The event is situated on part of the Cathedral of St Paul and runs down a steep incline.
