Hello Family and Friends,  I want to tell you a little bit about the Oak Hills Church Cuba Mission Trip 2017!  I am humbled to have been invited to join a mission team to Cuba this spring. Our church, Oak Hills Church, has raised $15,000 in less than a month to help purchase a house in Ciego de Avila. The house and town are located in central Cuba, which our team will renovate during our trip March 25-April 1, 2017. The super crazy fun thing about this trip is that I also get to be the official team photographer.

Trip Details

The people in these smaller towns are so hungry for the opportunity to join a healthy church community with like-minded Christ followers and it means everything to them. The average wage of the people in this part of Cuba is $16/month, so it is impossible for the people to build a church like we enjoy here in America, but through the efforts of Gary Lemberg Ministries, we are able to partner with the Cuban people by buying a house and converting it into a house church.

The cost of this trip is $2,200 so I have the need to pay that amount myself or to raise some or that entire amount.

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist I have been greatly influenced by the Upper Midwest. I focus my skills and energies on portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, architectural and fine art work. My best work comes from images first painted in my mind. I mull over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture. The result is images that deeply touch people's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams. My images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary to communicate their shared vision and values.
