Portfolio of portraits

I was asked recently if I had a portfolio of my portrait and people photography. I knew I had not compiled such a collection in a while so I was going to have to do it soon. So I took the time to go through my images and attempt to grab what I think are some my best images of people. They may not be the most popular and the most beautiful or anything like that. What I was actually looking for was the images that moved people the most. You know, they have had some kind of emotional connection with people either the person being photographed or people who have viewed the images.

So this collection is what I have come up with. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed going through it.

About waynem

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist I have been greatly influenced by the Upper Midwest. I focus my skills and energies on portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, architectural and fine art work. My best work comes from images first painted in my mind. I mull over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture. The result is images that deeply touch people's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams. My images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary to communicate their shared vision and values. Book and magazine publishers have featured my images on their covers. My photographs also grace and enhance the decor of many fine homes.

Just beautiful!! Very nice..Christmas wishes to you and yours.! I have a special love of taking pics of flowers. I could just walk and takes pics all day long. So of course I have an appreciation for the art of photography.
