Can’t get enough of Heaven

I got chatting with a new blogging friend, Ellie at Some Random Thoughts.  We were talking about worship and that lead to a discussion of heaven…

Imagine the best worship session ever, now multiply that by infinity and extend it for all eternity. We will never get tired of it. Every nation and language will be represented there, singing in unison. No racism, no hatred, no division. Every style of music will be there in perfect harmony, all giving glory to the One who is worthy, from gospel, to hip hop, to country, to hardcore punk, each person worshipping in their own unique way. There will be dancing of every kind, there will be people face down in adoration, there will be tears of joy as the rapture of worshipping takes them higher than any drug on earth could ever achieve. There will be release from bondage, healing of souls. We’ll be whole people, not broken or damaged, used or abused. Forgiveness will overflow, there will be no bitterness or past hurts. We will be able to lay down our hurts before the throne of Him who bore them for us. There will be room for everyone, everyone will be welcome, everyone will be family. No-one will feel left out, no-one will need to hide in the shadows, there will be no cliques, no rejection, no-one will ever feel alone. No-one will ever feel empty, lost, or depressed ever again. Everyone will finally be equal. No-one will lack anything. There will be no death, no separation.

This whole discussion makes me burn for all the glory of heaven.  It will be awesome or as Dr Nurk would say, "It will be glorious!"

About waynem

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist I have been greatly influenced by the Upper Midwest. I focus my skills and energies on portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, architectural and fine art work. My best work comes from images first painted in my mind. I mull over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture. The result is images that deeply touch people's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams. My images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary to communicate their shared vision and values. Book and magazine publishers have featured my images on their covers. My photographs also grace and enhance the decor of many fine homes.
