Bill Wallo over at Wallo World has a post on the power of words. We were just discussing this in the for of the power of encourage and the power of a blessing for your children. Actually saying the words I bless you or God bless has incredible power. Try it on your kids, they will just glow. Let me suggest Power of the Spoken Blessing. Well done Bill!
Warren over at View From the Pew talks about how should Christians react to harsh criticism in the blogosphere. This is a great reminder. It is easy to get mad when you get blasted, it is Godly to respond with grace. Excellent reminder Warren.
I really love Douglas Bass’s thoughts on a New York Times article. Their basic thought is "How can evangelicals make it to the top?" Douglas’ comments are insightful and keen. I find this even more interesting from a guy teaching at a Catholic University. Way to go Douglas (or can I call you Doug?)
Richard at kratistos Theophilos has a post on how Luke, the doctor and writer of the third epistle, would look at the concept of Scientific Education.
Amen to the Power of the Spirit from Random Responses. I have been having such a sense that our churches are dead and legalistic. We have a huge need for a move of the spirit again, and I agree with the focus of this post. Well done.
Appreciate these suggestions…it is hard to wallow through it all…I’m a slow pace person. Haven’t read any yet. End of the year homeschool stuff to wrap up!
