Im it for Book Tag

I have been informed by Carmel at Winterr’s Words that I have been booked tagged.  I’m game to play so here goes.

1.Total amount of books I have owned:

I am trying to be precise here the question states "books I have owned" so I am including present and past.  This has to be a huge guess because I have a very bad habit.  I am not like my wife who gets all her books from the library, I buy my books from amazon or where ever, and then I sell them again.  So, Current we probably have 300ish books in the house and I have probably been through another 300ish so is 600ish a good enough number.

2.Last book I bought:

The last book I bought was "Fodor’s Walt Disney World® and Universal Orlando® with Kids 2005 (Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando With Kids)".  We are planning our summer vacation.  OK, my wife is planning it.

3. Last book I read:

The last book I read from cover to cover was "The Jordan Tracks" for a book review.  Now I have five books in the works ranging in topics from investing in real estate to C. S. Lewis.

4. Books That Mean A lot To Me:

There are so many.  My most important would have to be The Bible.  The book along with a little help from the Holy Spirit has transformed my life.  Then probably The Brothers Karamazov.  It was the first "big" book that I made it through and I learned that I can indeed read mature literature and my love for reading was born.   Anything by C. S. Lewis is a blessing (Did you see the previews for the new Disney The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe movie).

Then Money Possessions and Eternity by Randy Alcorn blessed my financial life and Rich Dad Poor Dad  helped teach me to dream in the financial realm.

    Lyric with mouth agaping: Oh my! LOL
    What is the appropriate protocol for tagging another blogger? I’m such a newbie, I wouldn’t want to get started off on the wrong foot with other bloggers. So far, you’re about the only one with whom I’ve had any dialog. Is it okay to tag total strangers?

    That is pretty funny. I think the proper protocol would be to start commenting on other people’s blogs and get to know them a little bit. A great place to start is the blogs that you have linked to. Start chit chatting with these people and get to know them a bit. Honestly most people are quite friendly and helpful.
    Good luck. Glad to see I am the one that gets to stretch you a bit. lol
