A college has been stripped of its status as a Catholic institution because it invited pro-abortion Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., to give its commencement address and receive an honorary degree.

    FYI:
    A wholly inaccurate account by World Net Daily, as usual.
    1. the college has considered itself nonsectarian for many years
    2. the spokesman for the Archdiocese of New York, Joseph Zwilling, said the archdiocese had taken no action against Marymount Manhattan
    The only “stripping” has been by the Cardinal Newman Society, which also recently targeted Georgetown University for protest because it gave an award to Colin Powell.
