Below is an email commenting on the conditions in Sri Lanka after the most recent 8.7 earthquate.
Hi everyone, This is Cheri Rezac from group one. I am guessing that all of you know of the 8.7 earthquake that has hit Sumatra Indonesia once again. I wanted to let you know that I have talked to Evan in Sri Lanka. They are aware of the potential tsunami, and have evacutaed the area. I did not have a good connection with Evan, so I was not able to ask specifics. He did say that he was not able to get through to the hotel where 8 members of group 2 are staying, but he asked Rohan (a man from our village)to go to the hotel to give them warning. So far, there has been no tsunami anywhere....Lets pray that it stays that way. Cheri
