02/10/2005: "Is Franken better than Dayton?"
Bloggers, read all about yet another embedded propagandist in the Bush administration (in the White House Press Corp nonetheless)named Jeff Gannon. Oh, and read about the several gay pornographic web sites that were registered in his name. Read about it in the Washington Post. Make sure you read Gannons Greatest Hits.
Democratic Party a joke said @ 02/10/2005 08:33 PM CST
The difference is, if it is indeed true about Jeff Gannon, he will be discredited and removed from circles of prominance in the Republican world. If he were in Democratic circles, he would be ignored or worse yet rewarded and moved to higher prominance.
It is funny, only the Right are expected to act with high moral standards and integrity. The left can do anything and no one will think that there is anything wrong with the behavior.

No, the difference is the Democratic circles have not exhibited this behavior. And he was more likely than not a GOP stooge. (Note he was privy to CIA secret documents). Only now that he has been caught will he be removed from "circles of prominence".

I can't think of any unseemly behavior that democrats have not partaken in. - Remember Jessie Ventura's antics in the St. Paul YMCA. - Who was the Mpls. politician convicted of stealing campaign literature from private mail boxes. - Do you forget Bill Clinton??? And then do you forget his apologists?
We just don't hear more in the press about these issues because democrats do it and no one would expect anything else. It would not be news.

Pay no attention to the naked gay conservative male prostitute sitting in the middle of the family values white house living room.

Another insightful comment!
Like I said earlier, If a conservative does not live up to the values he/she espouse, they should be removed from places of leadership. Once Gannon was discovered to not be who he claimed to be, he was appropriately removed.
That is not the case in liberal circles.
Note, we still have Mark Dayton.
