The media circus will make a stop in Cambridge. MA Wednesday or Thursday when leading pedophile apologist Elizabeth Loftus is called as defrocked Catholic priest Paul Shanley’s only defense witness. http://www.boston.com Loftus, who was sexually abused by a babysitter herself at the age of six, told Psychology Today, "It's not that big a deal." http://www.findarticles.com The prosecution rested its case against Shanley on Monday. http://news.bostonherald.com The wife of the victim, who testified in the case Friday, said her husband had night sweats and “curled up in the fetal position” when remembering the abuse. http://www.sfgate.com She testified after the victim finished more than ten hours of grueling testimony, much of it under graphic and painful cross-examination. Victim advocates believe the insurers filed the suit to delay or derail settlements and force the Archdiocese into bankruptcy.
